Multi-stage high pressure fire pumps

A multi-stage, high-pressure fire pump is a pump specifically designed for use in fire protection systems to provide a steady, continuous flow of water at high pressures, which is critical to fire suppression efforts.

This pump is usually made up of multiple pump stages (or called stages) connected in series, each of which contains one or more impellers and corresponding guide vanes.

As the motor drives the pump shaft to rotate, the impeller rotates, causing the water to be centrifugally pushed from the inlet of the impeller to the outlet, while the velocity and pressure of the water are increased. This process is repeated in a number of pump stages, each pump stage for the water flow to increase a certain pressure, through a number of pump stages in series, multi-stage fire pumps can accumulate a higher discharge pressure to meet the fire system on the demand for high-pressure water flow.

Multi-stage high-pressure fire pumps have a wide range of applications, not only limited to fire fighting systems, but also industrial and urban water supply and drainage, high-rise building water supply, long-distance water supply, heating, bathrooms, boilers, cold and warm water circulation pressurization of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, water supply and equipment, and other occasions.
